The ultimate team meeting - in Mallorca!

Regional Retail Manager, Emma, took her lucky Assistant Branch Managers for a minibreak to recharge and refresh, and here is what they enjoyed:

“Ikos Porto Petro is fringed by mountains and scented pine forests, nestled between two sandy coves on the southeast coast of Mallorca. Our party flew with Ryanair from Bournemouth to Palma, where we reported to the Ikos desk on arrival and were given branded water before being escorted to our transfer, which took less than an hour. It was all very smooth, and so convenient, having flown from a regional airport.  

First impressions of Porto Petro were stunning – there is a gorgeous view right by reception, and the hotel is immaculate. We had beautiful sea view rooms with a balcony that were spacious, with a bath and separate shower, bathrobes, coffee machine, and a mini bar that gets filled daily.

The resort is big, with lots of pool options, including adults only. There are plenty of sunbeds and attentive staff available to top up your poolside drinks - they are very friendly, remembering you from day to day. It’s scrupulously clean and there are stunning, landscaped gardens, with golf buggies circulating to take you around the resort as you wish. There is a man-made beach which was very peaceful, with activities such as paddle boarding and snorkelling, plus a spa, gym, tennis, football, free bikes, yoga, kids’ clubs and a variety of evening entertainment.

Porto Petro is located close to the marina, and the hotel encourages you to explore the rest of the island, with a day’s electric car hire included in your stay, as well as entrance to local museums and historical monuments with their Culture Pass.

There are five a la carte restaurants and The Market, which is an elevated buffet dining concept. If that’s not enough choice there is also the Dine Out option, where you can also visit selected local restaurants, all included in your stay. The resort’s Asian Fusion restaurant Seasons was my favourite!

This resort is perfect for families, couples and multigenerational groups, as there are fantastic facilities on site for them all. Before we came, I had imagined Ikos Porto Petro to be luxurious and beautiful, and I was not disappointed! Staying here with my team was a great experience, and I think once you’ve visited, you’ll soon be looking to book again!”
