When did you start working in the travel industry?

This is my first job in the industry and I started in February 2026.

What is your favourite thing about your job?

I love how excited our customers are about their upcoming travels and the tales they come back with after the trip.

Where would you like to visit next?

I'd love to go to Japan or Vietnam, or anywhere in Asia really! It's part of the world I haven't been able to explore yet.

What is your dream holiday destination?

India. It's been at the top of my bucket list forever, my grandfather went many years ago and I grew up with tales of the amazing chaotic streets and delicious local dishes.

What has been your favourite holiday, which you have booked for a customer, that you would love to take yourself?

One of my favourites was a tour of Canada and the Rocky Mountaineer the views looked incredible in the pictures and I can only imagine what it's like experiencing it in real life.

What were your childhood holidays like?

We typically hired a Gite in France near the Dordogne... I was particularly keen on overnights sleepers when travelling in Europe by rail, to me it was a far more interesting way to travel than simply flying

What are the first three things in your case?

A swimsuit, book and headphones.

Tips

  1. I always use packing cubes, they help me keep organised especially if I'm going to more than one hotel.
  2. I always research how to say hello, goodbye and thank you in the language of the country I am going to.
  3. Make sure to check the size of the luggage you can take, as some airlines have different requirements, and you may have to pay extra if your bag is too big.

Cruise
Tips

  1. If you are new to cruising try to get a cabin that is mid ship as it's the least likely place you will feel the ship move.
  2. Make sure to book your excursions as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.
  3. On port days, make sure you note what time you have to be back at the ship so you aren't left behind.

My Favourite Memory

Definitely Spain, I grew up going to Spain a lot as my grandparents had an apartment there, so it always feels so familiar, and I love tapas.
