When did you start working in the travel industry?

I started working in travel in January 1984

What is your favourite thing about your job?

I simply adore helping clients create memories with love ones around the world.

Where would you like to visit next?

Canada, I would love to see a brown bear.

What is your dream holiday destination?

An exhibition cruise to Antarctica or Svalbard.

What were your childhood holidays like?

As a child I only went on UK holidays, but the best holiday was with my grandparents.

What are the first three things in your case?

Plugs and chargers, my camera and shorts.

Tips

  1. Try not to overpack. I think we are all guilty of this!
  2. I love the travel cubes; they are so useful, especially when going to more than one destination.  
  3. Wear your heaviest shoes if you have a tight weight limit.

  1. Research your ports of call; a shore excursion is not always needed, and you don't want to miss anything that each port has to offer.  
  2. Take a couple of clothes that are a little bigger, for wearing at the end of the week - there is so much good food that most people put on a little while away.  
  3. Know its ok to relax, there is so many amazing things to do on board, its good to remind yourself that it is also good to simply relax in your favourite part of the ship.

Africa - I can't explain the thrill and excitement of seeing animals at play in their natural environment.
