When did you start working in the travel industry?

I started working in the travel industry in April 2024. I was completing a level 3 Travel and Tourism course at college, however, I was completing work experience with Fred. Olsen during my course and as a result of that I got offered the apprentice role.

What is your favourite thing about your job?

I love seeing all the amazing destinations and experiences that the customers are going to. I love witnessing the excitement that the customers feel when their dream holiday gets booked.

Where would you like to visit next?

The top of my bucket list is definitely Thailand. I would love to get to experience and learn more about their traditions and culture. My main reason for wanting to travel there is to be able to see the wildlife that Thailand has to offer. Elephant Hills is on the top of my places to visit in Thailand.

What is your dream holiday destination?

My dream holiday destination is either the Maldives or Mauritius. The crystal clear beaches both destinations have to offer is a dream and the choice of luxury resorts. The isolated feeling of both destinations is what appeals to me most, being able to feel separated from the world.

What were your childhood holidays like?

My childhood holidays always stick in my mind. Cala D'or, Majorca is the place we used to go every year. The free child places were a win win! Spending days around the pool, diving for our swim rings underwater with my brother. The walks along the beach at night and the mocktails we'd have. The feeling of flying for the first time is unforgettable, the excitement the night before.

What are the first three things in your case?

1) Dresses, my holiday is not complete without a cute dress.

2) Camera, I am obsessed with taking pictures of everything when I go on holiday, I love capturing memories and being able to reminisce on them.

3) Sunglasses, each day counts for a different pair of sunglasses!
