I have just started working for Fred. Olsen this September as an Trainee Travel Consultant completing the level 3 Travel consultant qualification. I have been cruising since I was 10 months old and I have always had an interest in working in the industry, so when this opportunity came up for such a brilliant company I couldn't say no.
Meeting customers and learning their interests and helping them find a holiday they will remember forever.
I would like to travel all around Italy, I have only been too Trieste and i loved it so much that i want too see more. Specifically Tuscany and seeing the beautiful landscapes and doing wine tasting. I'd also like to visit Pompeii and Lake Como.
Christmas Cruises, all the staff onboard all ways made it so special for everyone and getting to see how different countries celebrate Christmas is fascinating.
1) I like too make sure I get back to the ship at least an hour before it is due to leave port to prevent the risk of delaying the departure time
2) Research the ports you are going to be visiting while on board to make the most of it as you usually only get a day there.
3) Make the most out of the people on board I have met some friends for life and same with the staff, if you are nice to them they will go above and beyond for you.
