My first role in travel was 25 years ago as a Travel Consultant for a niche Tour Operator specialising in the Adriatic and the lesser travelled European Islands. From there my experience has grown working with a number of travel companies, including running my own, arranging tailor-made multi-centre itineraries throughout Asia, Indian Ocean and the Middle East, Southern and Eastern Africa and North America.
Super happy customers! The opportunity to travel is important for many reasons, and knowing you've helped people have the best experience and create wonderful memories feels really good. Plus, I have learnt so much about the world, and it continues to be an incredible education.
I have two ideas floating around at the moment! Island Hopping in Greece, and also a multi-centre in Bali and the local islands. Greece has always been a family favourite, my girls and I have visited a number of islands, however, we are all very keen to move freely and explore the lesser travelled islands independently. I have also arranged countless bespoke itineraries in Indonesia for other people and every time it has left a pang of jealousy! It will definitely be the next long haul jaunt, cannot wait!
The list is getting longer and longer, it's hard to choose! For pure luxury, relaxation and a little island hopping, I have to say the Seychelles. Having explored Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Maldives, it will complete my Indian Ocean experience.
Tanzania. It was such a wonderful itinerary, staying in a variety of landscapes in unique accommodation. The perfect cultural experience.
Chalet holiday camps with my Grandparents on the Isle of Wight, and caravan holidays all over the South with my parents. I have such lovely memories. We had one trip overseas when I was 15 to stay with family in Ontario, Canada. The felt such a treat!
