When did you start working in the travel industry?

I started working in travel in January 2019.

What is your favourite thing about your job?

I love finding holidays that our clients love, really tailoring what they're looking for to find the perfect holiday. I understand that a “holiday” can mean something different to everyone, which is why I take great care to fine-tune each itinerary based on clients' wishes, ensuring they get the very best from the destinations they visit.

Where would you like to visit next?

I'd love to go to Yosemite national park and Western Canada. Yosemite has always been a dream for the outdoors travelling and climbing, and so has The Rockies in Canada, a true exploration.

What is your dream holiday destination?

Japan is very high up on my bucket list, I love exploring, visiting new places and Japan has so many different destinations within that cover both cities, countryside and beaches. I love the cuisine too and I'm such a foodie so this would be the dream.

What has been your favourite holiday, which you have booked for a customer, that you would love to take yourself?

Either an Alaska Cruise with the Rocky Mountaineer with time in Banff, or a journey down the East Coast of Australia.

What were your childhood holidays like?

We would holiday mostly in the UK, but i especially loved the Peak District for it's activities and exploring.

What are the first three things in your case?

My trainers, activewear and suncream.

Tips

  1. I always research and bookmark restaurants locally before I travel so when i'm out and about, I don't have to stress about where to eat.
  2. Use packing cubes to help you back, it's so much easier to stay organised and not overpack.
  3. Always carry a spare outfit in your cabin bag.

Cruise
Tips

  1. Plan a few things in advance, you don't need an excursion booked everyday, but have a few things booked.
  2. Research your ports, how far they are to the nearest attractions, and see which ports are most important to you and what you want to see.
  3. Don't rush and try to do everything onboard, otherwise you'll miss the relaxing part of cruising.

My Favourite Memory

A trip to Queensland, Australia in October changed everything. I loved the endless variety of things to do, alongside the opportunity to find secluded spots for some well-earned downtime.
