When did you start working in the travel industry?

I first joined the travel industry in 1992 when I finished 6th form college studying travel & tourism. 33 years later, still going strong.

What is your favourite Holiday Destination?

I do have a great love for Italy. I have travelled to a few of the main cities including the island of Ischia, I love the history and architecture of Italy & the quaint villages in the beautiful Tuscan region

Where would you like to visit next?

I have always wanted to travel to Vietnam and Cambodia, to visit the beaches, the islands, explore the ancient treasures & temples, enjoy the legendary cuisine and to just enjoy the culture & have an adventure.

What is your dream holiday destination?

Somewhere peaceful where I can switch off and be un-contactable for a week or so! A log cabin with a fire in the mountains, nice food and lots of books to catch up on and definitely no social media!

What has been your favourite holiday, which you have booked for a customer, that you would love to take yourself?

I have already done this - booking passengers on the Nashville, Memphis and New Orleans Elvis tour was a dream for me to finally do myself. Fully recommended to anyone, even if you're not a fan.

What were your favourite childhood holidays?

We didn't go abroad as a family when we were younger, we had trips to Butlins with our cousins! A particular great family holiday was taken in my dads old VW campervan staying in camp sites around Yorkshire.

What are the first three things in your case?

Sun cream, sunglasses, book

  1. Plan your outfits so you don't over pack
  2. Research the location you're visiting to help plan your days out
  3. Make sure your passport is in date prior to booking!

Cruise
Tips

  • Research in advance the size of ship you would like to stay on, do you want less or more passengers.
  • Pre-book if there is a particular shore excursion you would like to make sure you get on to avoid disappointment if you miss out.
  • Try different food that you wouldn't necessarily have at home, there is nothing better than cruise-food.

My Favourite Memory
